1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the LostFoundChild service ("Service"), operated by CIRVI TECHNOLOGIES ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
LostFoundChild is a child safety platform that allows parents and guardians to:
- Create secure, private profiles for their children via WhatsApp
- Report missing children through our emergency WhatsApp system
- Receive alerts and coordinate search efforts when children are reported missing
- Access community support and resources for child safety
The Service is designed to complement, not replace, official emergency services and law enforcement.
3. Fees and Refunds
LostFoundChild charges a service fee when you request our assistance in locating a registered missing child. The fee supports our coordination efforts, community alerts, and communication with authorities.
Payment is required before we begin search support. If you were charged in error or need a refund, please emailsupport@lostfoundchild.com within 7 days of the charge. Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method.
Refund Policy
If you were charged in error or the service was not initiated, refunds will be made to the original source account within 7–10 business days after approval.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Accurate Information
Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating child profiles. False or misleading information may result in service termination and could hinder emergency response efforts.
4.2 Emergency Services
Users acknowledge that in case of a missing child emergency, they must contact local emergency services (police or equivalent) BEFORE or simultaneously with using our reporting service.
4.3 Appropriate Use
Users agree to use the Service only for legitimate child safety purposes and not for any unlawful or prohibited activities.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.
Key privacy principles:
- Child profiles remain private until you report them missing
- We use encryption to protect sensitive information
- We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR, CCPA, and Indian data protection regulations
- We do not sell or share personal information for commercial purposes
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailingsupport@lostfoundchild.com. We will remove your information unless we are legally required to retain it.
6. Service Availability
While we strive to maintain continuous service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Technical difficulties
- Third-party service dependencies (including WhatsApp)
- Force majeure events
7. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT: This Service is a tool to assist in child safety but is not a guarantee of child recovery or safety.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CIRVI TECHNOLOGIES shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business interruption
- Delays in emergency response or communication
- Actions or inactions of third parties, including law enforcement
- Technical failures or service interruptions
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of CIRVI TECHNOLOGIES and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
11. International Users
While our Service may be accessible internationally, users outside India acknowledge that:
- Local emergency services should always be contacted first
- Our alert system may have limited effectiveness outside India
- Data may be processed and stored in India
- Local laws and regulations may apply to your use of the Service
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
